🌟 Stay the Course
When we look ahead, why do many of us look forward to TGIF?
I feel it is because some days (usually not Friday) test our patience. Friday marks the beginning of a weekend when we can unwind and put our worries in the rearview, at least for a few days, until the sediment floats back up.
During the week, doubts sneak in, annoying phone calls come in, various worries and challenges rise, and it feels normal to expect the worst rather than to believe things will turn around.
But here’s the quiet truth: every moment you choose positivity and faith over fear, you’re strengthening the ground beneath your feet.
🌟 Good Things Grow When We Look Ahead
At Balmy Lane Press, we know it is not always easy to look ahead when we are in the trenches, but when stress threatens to steal your calm, we encourage you to take a moment to invest in yourself.
Close your eyes, breathe deeply, at least three deep breaths, and gently let go of the thought that’s weighing you down. They usually appear one at a time and pile on until you feel overwhelmed.
Replace worry with intention; write down your thoughts. Reading them can sometimes provide clarity on the next step.
Or maybe there is no next step. In that instance, swap fear for trust. Give yourself the gift of patience.
🌟 Even If You Can’t See the Need, Look Ahead
Even when life feels stubbornly dark, good is forming. The Sun always comes back up.
When you feel the walls closing in, hold steady by choosing thoughts that lift you instead of weigh you down.
✨Positive things grow from positive minds.
✨Better days respond to belief in ourselves, persistence, and inner calm.
✨When you stay the course, life meets you halfway.
✨Hang in there. Keep the faith. Look ahead, good times are near.
